GOOD NEWS!!  I went to Huntsman on Monday.  Those guys are sooo awesome! After reviewing my (2) MRI's and CT scan, DR. Randall said he thinks it's just a very severe stress fracture, that has been bleeding inside the bone.  The results from my scans, both said I had a tumor, that was 1.6 x 1.2 x 1.2 cm, inside the tibia bone.  Dr Randall, said he is very sure it's not a tumor, but rather blood inside the bone, that the scans are picking up.  They gave me the choice of doing a biopsy to find out.  The good thing is, had I opted for the biopsy we would know 100 percent right then and there, if it was a tumor or blood.  The bad thing, they would of had to drill a hole in my tibia to get the sample.  He said I would be on crutches for 8 weeks and it would affect my recovery.  I opted to not have the biopsy. So, heres the low down.  I have to go back to Huntsman in 8 weeks.  They are going to do another MRI, if nothing shows up I am good to go and could start running 2 months after that.  If the spot is still there, then Dr Randall said it's a tumor for sure and we are back where we started.  The Huntsman is second to none and I think this is just a severe fracture.  Now, I just need to keep myself in decent shape.  I will only have 2 1/2 months to get ready for STGM and will have to start back slow.  Truth is, STGM or not I feel very lucky and want to thank everyone for all your nice comments and encouragment!  You guys are the BEST, Thanks a million!
